This is Brady. He's only a year older than the twins but he is a giant. He's the son of one of my favorite church friends, Kelly.
As our kids are a little young for some of the activities, but we took advantage of the wagon ride and the pumpkin patch.
We had to wait in line for a few minutes in order to ride on the wagon, so we let the kids get out of the stroller and play.
The wagon ride itself was the highlight of the day for me. The twins loved it!
This is my girlfriend Jennifer and her son Cameron:
This was the first indication that Carter was starting to drag a bit:
After the wagon ride we went to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out our free (with the price of admission) pumpkins.
More of Carter's tiredness emerges:
And now he's turning cranky:
But not Olivia! She's seizing the day (and pumpkin).
Here are the two pumpkins we took home.
We all had a wonderful time. Forrest carried Olivia and I held Carter's hand while he walked to the car with us. By this time he was so cranky that he started trying to walk in the opposite direction from me. I kept having to chase after him and force him to go with us, which he resisted. He is definitely a toddler but he slept like a baby on the way home. Olivia and I hunt out together in the backseat and snacked on pumpkin bread.
