Morgan and Phillip went out on a fishing adventure (after she had badgered him forever it seemed) so we all went out to see them off. While there, we took some group pictures.

Visit at Bop Bop's (a Thanksgiving post)
We drove in to Kennedale to spend a couple hours with Bop Bop on the day after Thanksgiving. Boy was it a windy day! We ate leftover Thanksgiving dinner for lunch (and the kids loved it!), then played outside for a bit.
Then we headed inside to play with Bop Bop's fun toys (read: not toys at all but that didn't stop my kids!)

Cornhole
Oh how the name of this game makes me happy. In fact, it gives me fits of giggles. Such a silly name for a very fun game. Ellen created this game for Chris for his birthday. She either constructed them herself or purchased them constructed and painted them herself. Regardless, it was a great gift and has been a wonderful addition to the lakehouse.
When Chris first told us of the name, we thought he was kidding. Then when we discovered he wasn't kidding, we thought someone was pulling a fast one on him by telling him it was called Cornhole. But alas, it really is it's name. Oh no, I can feel another giggle fit coming on.
These Cornhole pics were taken during Thanksgiving weekend.
I think it's technically against the rules to climb on the Cornhole boards. Morgan has been banished from such activity because there's a concern that she'll break it. I don't think the twins weigh enough yet, but probably we'll have to put an end to this climbing in the future.

Thanksgiving at the Lake (Part 1)
I don't think it gets any better than spending Thanksgiving with your family at the lake. We had so much fun together. Also, importantly the kids learned how to climb down the stairs. Last time they were very skilled at climbing up but inept and afraid to get down. Also, they were much more clumsy. This time, I showed them how to get down and once I saw them successfully maneuver up and down several times, I stopped panicking every time they'd get near the steps. I'm sure we'll have some falls every now and then, but hopefully they can safely go up and down most of the time.
We spent Wednesday through Sunday at the lake and it was the perfect amount of time for a visit. The twins really settled in and felt comfortable there. I think they know that place now and it feels like home.
The pics below were all taken on Thanksgiving morning. I know this because of the images of the Macy's parade on the tv and also because Carter is wearing his game day shirt. Sadly, the Longhorns didn't win the game.

Olivia sure does love her Grandmommie.
