Fun Family Time (Part 2)
The boys left the house early so that they could get to Starkville early enough to tailgate before the 11:00am kickoff, so we pretty much had the day to ourselves. Our plans included giving Carter a haircut and going to the zoo - both we pulled off with tremendous success.
The kiddos all climbed into my tub first thing in the morning because they think it's a fun place to play.
I didn't get any pics of the haircut act itself, but you can see our handiwork in the below pics at the zoo.
It's a pretty small zoo with just a few animals, but it was enough to entertain us for the morning. They also had a bounce house that we loved (all of us except Caro - not sure why?). I was worried about putting my kids in there but they had the time of their lives.

Fun Family Time (Part 1)
The Wieds, Grandmommie, and Aunt Ellen came to visit us and we had so much fun together! Phillip and Forrest had tickets to the A&M/Mississippi State game, which was the initial impetus for this trip. However, they couldn't just come for the day so they made a long weekend of it.
They arrived REALLY early in the morning on Friday. I had hoped to take that Friday off of work but I had to go to Baton Rouge for a meeting, so the kids got to stay home and hang out with their Grandmommie, aunts, cousins, and Uncle P. Although I missed out on the fun, they took a few pics of their antics with my camera.
That night we all went to the Magic Tomato for dinner. Dinner out with the kids is always a little chaotic, but all in all it wasn't too crazy.
After dinner the guys took the kids home and the ladies got to go to the mall. We shopped and had a wonderful time! Liah and Ellen must have tried on 20 pairs of shoes between the two of them, and they each came home with a pair of discount Reefs (no riding boots or ankle boots, bummer). We did find some wonderful holiday clothes for the kids and I also got some work clothes from NY&Co. It was mostly fun to shop with my sisters and mom and WITHOUT the kids. Wee!

Halloween 2012
I really beat myself up over the twins' Halloween costumes. I wanted them to coordinate, as I know there are only a couple years when I get to dictate their costumes. I also didn't want them to be too hot. Unfortunately most baby Halloween costumes are head to toe fleece numbers. That is WAY too hot for south Mississippi. Finally, I didn't want to spend more than about $20 each on them.
This set of criteria was nearly impossible to meet, until I happened upon these little skeleton onesies. I paired them with some black leggings and got simple, coordinating, and cute costumes.
They wore them to school that day so I snapped these pics in the morning.
Our church hosts a "Trunk or Treat" at our partner school, Woodley Elementary. Unfortunately Carter was sent home that afternoon for a low grade fever. I gave him some Tylenol and then picked up his sister and headed to the Trunk or Treat. I'm not sure that it was wise for us to go because Carter clearly didn't feel well. However, I let them split a hot dog while we were there and that perked him up enough to make it through the rest of the parking lot.
This Spiderman goes by Neal Bryan during the day. He is such a cutie!
